Why do crips wear kc hats
The Primera Flats gang members usually meet in or around Trinity Park, where multiple gun-fights involving rival sets have taken place in the last thirty years. It might be the red color or the letters on the insignia, but this hat from Missouri is often used by members of both the Black P. Stones Bloods and the Blood Stone Villains. As the name suggests, the two African-American gangs belong to the Bloods alliance.
Wearing a St. Louis Cardinals hat anywhere in that area could not only be dangerous, but also get you into trouble with the local police departments. The black, red, gold, and white logo for the San Francisco 49ers is often associated with the Family Swan Bloods ; yet another of the African-American criminal groups that populate South Los Angeles.
Surrounded by several enemy gangs, many believe that this crew has managed to survive only thanks to the brutality and ruthlessness of their lifestyle. As the Crips and the Bloods settle their differences on the streets, wearing a 49ers crest anywhere in the city will drastically increase your chances of getting caught in the crossfire.
Nevertheless, these hats are usually worn by both members of the Los Angeles Brims and a variety of other gangs in the Blood Alliance. As such, Red Sox fans should be extremely careful when in Los Angeles.
With the light-blue lettering and the intricate designs, gadgets from the North Carolina Tar Heels are an obvious choice for any Crip-related clique. Note that wearing a Tar Heels cap anywhere in the eastern part of the city could attract unwanted attention from the Bloods, whose long-standing rivalry with the Crips has brought violence to several of these neighborhoods in the last four decades.
Another set of primarily blue accessories, items from the Florida Marlins baseball team are extremely popular among members of the Crips. More specifically, younger bangers belonging to the Rollin 50s Neighborhood Crips often use these caps to show their allegiance. Although the Florida Marlins officially changed their name to Miami Marlins in , wearing these caps in public while in East LA could still prove particularly dangerous.
Following the trend we saw with the last two entries, the blue, white, and red T logo for the Minnesota Twins has also been adopted as the standard for a Crips gang. The caps remain particularly popular among criminals affiliated with the Rollin 30s Crips , who proudly wear the letter as a warning to their enemies.
One of the most powerful neighborhood gangs on the West side of LA, the Rollin 30s occupy and control large territories within the city and the whole state. Yet the two emblems, along with a handful of others, have also come to represent a whole other affiliation. The Dodgers and Pirates are among a handful of teams to have had hats adopted into gang culture—affording them spots on our list of most gang affiliated hats.
This seemingly subtle bit of accoutrement is a clear sign of loyalty for a team that is slightly more involved than that of the casual fan. In their eyes, the team logo on the crest of the cap has little to do with sports and everything to do with repping a set.
So without further ado…. Hoover also organized the all-encompassing Folk Nation , which includes the Black Disciples, among other Chicago-area gangs.
That red KC hat made me a lot of money for 5 year stretch. How the hell is KC not on this list? I remember being 14 and meeting some bloods, they quickly informed me what my favorite team represents.
C Kill a Crab Kill a Crypt. Damn that's a nice cap! I also sold a shitload of the Blue Cincinnati reds hats. I did everything in different colors. Hey the Tigers made the list. Even gang bangers know when you're sporting the Olde English D you're stylin'.
Just ask Magnum P. True story. I was in Bakersfield once and was wearing my Royals hat. I was approached by two dudes who asked me how long I'd been in the kitchen crips. Being a 37 year old white dude I literally laughed in their faces and had to explain to them that it was a legitimate sports hat. I haven't worn my royals hat in Bakersfield since. Yep, that's my gangster hometown. It's pretty damn funny, not sure who you ran into, but the majority of them are Mexican Americans I guess that's appropriate and weigh around haha.
So frightening. I like to keep it old school when i thug out. Washington Bullets flat billed. No Winnipeg Jets? I see your Winnipeg jets and raise you a San Jose Sharks!
Some of the stuff in this article is just dumb. It says on the Astro's hat that Folk Nation is represented by a 5 pointed star, thus they wear that hat. That's wrong. That's halfway correct. The five star looks like its broken in the astros design so GDs wear them.
